Re “Beverly Hills prohibits fractional ownership,” June 8 issue

I am glad that Beverly Hills reinforced its ban on “fractional” ownership. Like temporary rentals such as Airbnb, they serve only to remove rental units from people who desire permanent housing in favor of people who by nature of their interest in the property will have, at best, “fractional” interest in the community.
