MAINopoly: Taste of Main Street
On Saturday, May 27 during Memorial Day weekend join a fun tasting tour in Santa Monica from 1 to 5 p.m. All-ages can participate in this interactive twist on the classic board game. Prince Street Pizza and Chef Chris Oh
Michelin-rated chef, restauranteur and TV personality, Chris Oh is making a limited-edition Korean BBQ Short Rib pizza now through May 31 at Prince Street Pizza. A portion of the proceeds from every pizza sale will go to support the Koreatown Youth + Community Center and San Diego Asian Pacific Islander Coalition. Whole pies are $45 and slices are $7. Terranea Resort’s 2023 Summer Sound Series
Starting on Memorial Day Weekend through September, Terranea is hosting outdoor concerts with some of South Bay’s best tribute bands. Pool season is open at Mr. C Beverly Hills for single day resort passes. Kinn Tasting Menu
In support of AAPI month this May, L.A.’s modern Korean-Californian restaurant Kinn is inviting some of LA’s favorite chefs to prepare a multi-course tasting menu. On Tuesday, May 30, at 6 p.m., diners will enjoy Korean, Chinese, Thai, Japanese and Indian flavors during this one night dinner for $120 per person. Each chef will create one course showcasing the flavors and cooking techniques that help define their heritage. Notable AAPI chefs include Leo Lee from RiceBox will make crab cake Rangoon and char siu Wagyu short ribs rice. Mark Okuda of The Brothers Sushi will prepare fresh soft-shell crab, and Deau Arpapaornopparat and Joy Yuon from Holy Basil are preparing cuttlefish. Pride event at Soulmate in West Hollywood
Admission is free to celebrate the start of Pride Month at Soulmate. The open-air space, in the heart of West Hollywood, will host a Pride kickoff event on June 1.
