Investigators with the West Hollywood Sheriff’s Station are investigating and are in the process of presenting the case to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office, he said.
At approximately 9:40 p.m. on April 25, three suspects – a man and two women – robbed three victims at gunpoint in an alley near Santa Monica Boulevard and Orlando Avenue. The male suspect was armed with an assault rifle reported to be an AK-47 and the two women were armed with handguns.
The suspects approached two victims in the alley next to La Boheme restaurant and demanded their property, authorities said. One of the victims was struck in the face with a handgun. The suspects also robbed a man walking by on the sidewalk.
The BHPD released information about the arrest of four suspects on April 26 following an armed robbery near Wilshire Boulevard and Bedford Drive. The suspects fled south on Bedford Drive prior to officers arriving. The BHPD used closed-circuit cameras and its Real Time Watch Center to locate a silver Dodge sedan the suspects were driving. After officers attempted to pull over the vehicle, a pursuit ensued.
BHPD officers arrested the suspects near Cotner Avenue and Santa Monica Boulevard in the Westwood area. Officers recovered a handgun and rifle in the vehicle, as well as property stolen during the robbery in Beverly Hills. The vehicle the suspects were driving was also stolen, police said.
The suspects were identified as Keymaurie Clark, 26, and Briana Threets, 18, both of Oakland. The other two suspects, a male juvenile and female juvenile, are both 15 years old. Their names were not released.
West Hollywood Sheriff’s Station Capt. Bill Moulder declined to comment on the connection between the cases in the two cities pending the outcome of the investigation. Any witnesses or anyone with information is asked to call the West Hollywood Sheriff’s Station at (310)358-4033 or (310)855-8850.
