The Academy of Magical Arts will host its 55th annual AMA Awards Show, Thursday, May 25, at the historic Theatre at Ace Hotel in downtown Los Angeles.
Celebrating its 60th anniversary in 2023, it marks the first time that the The Magic Castle has opened the show to the public. Anyone purchasing a ticket will also receive a pass to visit the iconic private club.
Hosted by comedic magician David Kovac, the show will honor close-up magician/mentalist Asi Wind as Magician of the Year. Wind is considered a “magician’s magician” and is currently starring in Asi Wind’s “Inner Circle Presented by David Blaine.”
The show will once again feature first-class performances with a global perspective by some of the world’s best magicians – a true celebration of the art of magic and those who preserve the craft for audiences everywhere to enjoy.
For tickets, visit axs.com/events/479774/the-magic-castle-2023-awards-show-tickets. Doors open at 6 p.m. and the show runs from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. The Ace Hotel is located at 929 S. Broadway.
