The Korean Cultural Center Los Angeles will present “Korean Spirits” on Saturday, May 27, from 2-3 p.m. in the Los Angeles Central Library’s Mark Taper Auditorium.
The event celebrates Asian Heritage Month in May, as well as the 70th anniversary of the U.S.-ROK Alliance and the 120th anniversary of the first Korean immigrants arriving in the United States.
The event includes musical performance and art and craft activities. All participants will enjoy a sample of the traditional Korea desserts such as yakgwa and rice cakes. The Korean Tourism Organization will provide information about travel, and the King Sejong Institute Foundation will offer information about Korean language classes.
The Central Library is located at 630 W. Fifth St., downtown. For information, visit kccla.org or lapl.org/whats-on/events/2023-korean-spirits.
