In recognition of National Public Works Week, the Beverly Hills Public Works Department was honored by the City Council during the May 16 meeting. “The things that all of you do are the things that make our city a wonderful place to live,” Mayor Julian Gold said. “And the fact that we don’t see you that much is a reflection of the great work you’re doing. Things don’t break very often, and when they do they get fixed quickly. And I just think you do an amazing job, and this community loves you for it.”
