Artist and Park La Brea resident Debora Gillman has created a series of seven new paintings titled “Scenes at Park La Brea.”

Gillman, who has lived at Park La Brea since 1996, was so moved by the beauty of the complex that she painted the works in the series. Gillman is an accomplished artist who has previously taught art classes at the Park La Brea Activities Center, located at 475 S. Curson Ave. For information, email debbgill@ca.rr.com.
