Agnes Restaurant & Cheesery classes
April 27 starting at 6 p.m., Agnes Restaurant & Cheesery in Old Town Pasadena is offering a fun, hands-on “Cheese + Beer, Wine and Cider” tasting class. Every weekend on the Terrace at The Belvedere, The Peninsula Beverly Hills Tea Party will feature hand selected antique China and glassware, floral themed cocktails and an endless flow of bubbles from Laurent Perrier Brut, Rose or Blanc de Blanc. Taste of Home Festival
On April 29, Sunset Las Palmas Studios in Hollywood is the venue for this year’s PATH’s Taste of Home from 3 to 7 p.m. The festival will have over 30 restaurants including Fanny’s, Madre, Ayara Thai, Chimmelier Korean Fried Chicken, Everytable, Gumbo Boys and Irv’s Burgers and Creamy Boys Ice Cream. Spirits and beverages include Dulce Vida Organic Tequila and Empress 1908 Gin. VIP admission tickets are $150, allowing guests to enter an hour early for a reception and tastes of all the food and beverages. General admission tickets are $95 for entrance to the festival starting 4 p.m., with opportunities to enjoy all the food, beverage and entertainment. Waldorf Astoria Cinco de Mayo celebration
A collaborative Waldorf Astoria culinary event will take place on May 5 and 6 at the Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills. Chef Steve Benjamin, director of culinary at Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills will transport diners to the Mexican coast starting on Friday, May 5. Tastes of Mexico will be led by award- winning Waldorf Astoria chefs Los Cabos Pedregal’s executive chef, Gustavo Pinet and Bar Director David Hernandez. A savory four-course, family-style dinner farm-to-table is served with hand-crafted margaritas, signature cocktails and wine pairings.
