Beverly Hills Fire Department Chief Greg Barton will speak during the Workforce Wellbeing: Reinvigorating Your Team conference at the UCLA Luskin Conference Center on April 27 at 1:30 p.m.

During the conference, aimed at C-suit executives, HR directors, EAP professionals and organizational leaders, Barton will give an inside look at the specific mental health challenges fire fighters and front-line workers face, and what strategies his department uses to support them.

Barton’s remarks will round out a program featuring keynote speaker Marc Brackett, founder and director of the Yale Center for Emotional Intelligence who works with companies like Facebook, Google and Apple on workplace wellness. Brackett will share how to create a thriving company culture, where the emotional needs of staff are seen and supported. A lunchtime roundtable discussion, led by mental health professionals and community leaders will offer the opportunity for attendees to network and share insights.
