For one day only on Sunday, March 12, executive chef Emmanuel Cadengo has created a special brunch honoring the season finale of the HBO Max’s hit show, “The Last of Us.” Atrium in Los Feliz brunch menu features gourmet mushrooms from Smallhold’s farm in Los Angeles. Starting at 10 a.m. until 3 p.m., order one of the Lions Mane Mushroom Benedict with porcini hollandaise sauce; buttermilk biscuits with mushroom gravy or Adobo mushroom chilaquiles. Other highlights include fried oyster and waffle, roasted trumpet banh mi and blue oyster frittata. The bar team has created two cocktails named after the characters in the post-apocalyptic show. Joel is made with mezcal, mixed mushroom, artichoke, honey and white pepper; Ellie is a gin-based cocktail with lion’s mane, elderflower, sage and lime.
