Authorities said the crime occurred between 1:30-1:45 a.m. in the 7600 block of Santa Monica Boulevard. The suspect approached a female victim at a bus bench and forced her into a nearby parking garage, where the sexual assault occurred. The suspect was last seen walking south on Fuller Avenue.
The suspect was described as Black, approximately 6 feet 1 inches tall and 210 pounds, with a muscular build. The victim reported the suspect had a mustache, authorities said. The suspect was wearing a ski mask, baseball cap, cream or yellow colored sweater with “XTC” printed on it over a green hooded sweatshirt, black pants and white shoes.
