Re ‘Shyne sets sights on Schiff’s seat,’ Feb. 23 issue

I think there was an error in the story about Mayor Shyne’s announcement of her Congressional bid. She is not the first Iranian American mayor in the state of California – that was former Beverly Hills Mayor Jimmy Delshad. She is the first Iranian American woman and LGBTQ person.
