On Saturday, March 25 from 11a.m. to 3 p.m., the multigenerational market in Mid-City will have its first of a series of community events in partnership with Prosperity Market and the Los Angeles Food Policy Council. Each pop-up will be in collaboration with a neighborhood corner store in LAFPC’s Healthy Neighborhood Market network. Black owned businesses such as The Got Damn Sauce, Reed Avocados, Ghost Town Oats, Ciel Eau De Parfum and Vanity provide produce, products, plants and prepared foods. Additional resources available include CalFresh enrollment assistance from Hunger Action LA. Banking resources from MoCaFi’s “n Our Block,” include $100 for anyone who has or signs up for an Angeleno Connect Bank Account. Get Prosperity Bucks free money for guests to use while shopping with Prosperity Market vendors. Prosperity Market’s virtual market is open now through March 24, allowing people to shop online and have their order delivered to them or for pick up on March 25 at one of three locations.
