The Los Angeles Police Department is searching for three male suspects who allegedly committed smash-and-grab burglaries on March 7 at three businesses in Koreatown and Hollywood.
LAPD spokesman Warren Moore said the robberies occurred from 4:30-5 a.m. Two restaurants were targeted in the 5100 block of Melrose Avenue and 3800 block of Sixth Street in Koreatown. The burglars also targeted a beauty supply store in the 5800 block of Santa Monica Boulevard in Hollywood, authorities said. The businesses were closed at the time of the burglaries and the suspects allegedly entered by smashing windows or glass doors.
Moore did not have information about what was stolen or why the businesses were targeted. Anyone with information is urged to call the LAPD’s Hollywood Division at (213)972-2971 or the Olympic Division at (213)382-9102.
