This spring break, let Wallis Annenberg PetSpace keep your kiddos busy at our one-week PetSpace Kids Camp. Each day from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., campers will take part in fun pet-centric activities that will teach them all about the human-animal bond, pet adoption, veterinary care and animal behavior
Held March 27 to 31 (Session 1) and April 3 to 7 (Session 2), each session is a one-week (five-day) experience for campers ages 8 to 11. As part of the Pet Pioneer Camp curriculum, each child will receive a Pet Pioneer activity journal, PetSpace Kids Camp t-shirt, craft supplies and PetSpace goodies.
Topics covered include animal health, behavior, grooming, nutrition, exercise and physical therapy, photography, veterinary medicine and animal adoption. Each daily itinerary incorporates a new theme that makes the most of PetSpace’s interactive indoor and outdoor environment with live demonstrations, crafts, educational games and pet encounters. Campers will meet a variety of adoptable pets and learn how to be responsible pet owners.
Cost is $450 per session. Visit petspacecamp.org for daily schedules and information. All sessions run from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Wallis Annenberg PetSpace is located at 12005 Bluff Creek Dr.
