Detectives from the Los Angeles Police Department’s Olympic Division are searching for a male suspect wanted for two robberies on March 15 in the Koreatown area.
The first robbery occurred around 9:55 p.m. in the 4400 block of Beverly Boulevard, approximately four blocks east of Western Avenue. Police responded to the second robbery around 10:50 p.m. in the 800 block of Third Avenue in a residential neighborhood south of Wilshire Boulevard and west of Wilton Place.
In both robberies, the suspect pointed a handgun at victims and demanded their property, and fled on foot. He is alleged to have stolen cash, a designer handbag, debit card, cell phones and a tablet computer. No injuries were reported.
The suspect is described as Black, 30-35 years old, 6 feet tall and 180-190 pounds. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants, black high top shoes that are possibly boots, and black or gray gloves.
