Beverly Hills Police Department officers arrested four minors on March 13 after responding to a report of a stolen vehicle, BHPD Lt. Reginald Evans said.
At approximately 4:48 p.m. on March 13, an automatic license plate reader alerted police to a maroon Kia Optima near the intersection of Burton Way and Maple Drive, Evans said. The vehicle been reported as stolen earlier that day to the California Highway Patrol’s West Los Angeles station, Evans added.
Police stopped the vehicle near Wilshire Boulevard and Canon Drive at approximately 5 p.m., and a Los Angeles Police Department helicopter assisted the responding officers, according a BHPD bulletin.
Evans said he was not aware of injuries to anyone involved and he did not say if the minors were charged. After investigations concluded the minors were released back to their parents, Evans added.
