Through the end of March, numerous restaurants are offering special opportunities to donate to Children’s Hospital Los Angeles through its Make March Matter campaign. The annual campaign unites businesses and the community in support of children’s health and CHLA.
Participating partners include Alfred Coffee, which will donate $1 for every lavender latte sold. Guests can donate when they order at the store or from the Alfred app.
Bootsy Bellows allows guests to donate directly on their bill, and Cafe Gratitude will donate $1 of every item sold from the kids menu at the Larchmont, Venice and Arts District locations. Dairy Queen will give a free cone for every guest who makes a donation on March 20, which is National Cone Day. Delilah will donate $1 for every chicken tenders sold, and Eataly will donate 20% of the proceeds for everyone who signs up for one of seven select cooking classes.
El Cholo will donate $100 at each location, and guests will receive a VIP nachos card to enjoy Carmen’s nachos free through 2023. Etta is preparing a special CHLA dessert and will donate 10% of the sales to the hospital. Fred 62 will donate $2 for every kids meal purchased and HomeState Hollywood will donate $1 for every Love Song Band Taco ordered in store, online pick-up or for delivery.
Jesse Boy will donate $1 for every bowl purchased, Lark Cake Shop will donate a portion of the proceeds from its special edition lemon berry cupcake, Milk Jar Cookies will donate a portion of sales from special cookies, MIRAME guests can make a donation on their check, and Mr. T will donate a portion of sales to CHLA. The Nice Guy L.A. has added chicken tenders to the menu and will donate $1 for every order sold. Panda Express and Poppy are allowing guests to make a donation with every purchase. Porto’s Bakery and Cafe is baking a special CHLA cookie, and will donate a portion of sales. Randy’s Donuts is making a special Make March Matter donut and will donate 25% of the proceeds.
Round Table Pizza will donate $1 for every large pizza purchased at the North Hollywood location. Shake Shack is offering a $1 donation for every shake sold from March 14-16. Sweetfin Poke will donate $1 for every guava lemonade sold at any L.A. location. Trejo’s Coffee and Donuts will donate 20% of proceeds from every purchase of a Cumpleaños donut or a baby onesie. Tulsi Indian Eatery will donate $1 for every lassi purchase, and Uncle Paulie’s Deli will donate a portion of each bill in March to CHLA. For information, visit makemarchmatter.org.
