Beverage Director Amanda Alvarez has put together a fun movie-inspired list of cocktails and mocktails, paying homage to beloved movie classics such as “Forrest Gump” and “Jaws.” Regular Messhall diner and animator extraordinaire, Rob Zylowski, has leant his unique style to the illustrations for the menu. executive chef Charbel Adaimy’s new dishes on the Messhall menu appeal to carnivores, vegetarians, pescatarians and vegans. Highlights include Tree Hugger tacos made with faux carnitas and a vegan Salisbury steak. The pork belly lettuce cups are enhanced with a papaya salsa, and Moules Papas fritas are topped with chorizo and a tequila lime bath. 4500 Los Feliz Blvd., (323)660-6377.
