The National Wildlife Federation’s #SaveLACougars campaign will host Celebration of Life for P-22 at the Greek Theater in Los Angeles on Saturday, February 4 from noon-2 p.m.
The event will feature a long list of emotional spoken, artistic and video tributes as well as a number of live musical performances and special surprise guests. The event will be available via livestream and details on how the community can be part of the celebration remotely will be released closer to the event date.
With the event now at full capacity, thousands of people from all over Southern California will come together to celebrate the beloved P-22 mountain lion. P-22’s miraculous journey across two of Los Angeles’ busiest freeways and incredible story of survival against all odds captured the imagination of Angelenos and people from all over the world and gave life to the campaign to build the Wallis Annenberg Wildlife Crossing. Construction on the crossing is now underway and is slated for completion in 2025.
