South America’s Negroni Bar & Bistro opened its first outpost Negroni 3rd Street in L.A. Kicking off the New Year, it is launching weekend brunch service from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Executive chef Pablo Latif and chef Mark Salazar’s brunch menu highlight breakfast favorites along with Negroni’s signature Nikkei-style sushi bar. Brunch fare includes truffle stracciatella eggs with mushrooms on sourdough toast; a tofu scramble, and brioche French toast with banana, blueberries and whipped cream. Besides a menu of Negronis during brunch, they are also offering $25 bottomless mimosas served with orange, peach or passion fruit juice. Other beverages include Aperol spritzes and a Nikkei Bloody Mary made with vodka, vegan tiger milk, tomato juice, orange juice, togarashi and oyster sauce.
