The Los Angeles Department of Sanitation and Environment is collecting new and gently-used men’s, women’s and children’s clothing in a donation drive for St. Francis Center, as well as LASAN’s Livability Services Division helping Angelenos in need.
The donation drive runs from Monday, Jan. 9 through Friday, March 3. Donations may be dropped off from 9 a.m.-4 p.m., Monday-Friday, at LASAN sites throughout the city. In the local community, clothing can be donated at the West Los Angeles District Yard, 2027 Stoner Ave. Donations are also being accepted at the Public Works Building at 1149 S. Broadway, downtown. The drop-off locations will be closed on Jan. 16 for MLK Day, and Feb. 20 for Presidents Day.
St. Francis Center provides support for homeless and extremely low-income individuals and families in Los Angeles. For information and drop-off locations, call (213)485-2260, or visit lacitysan.org.
