Beverly Hills residents gathered in Beverly Gardens Park at 6 p.m. on Dec. 19 to light the menorah in honor of the second night of Hanukkah.

On Twitter, Mayor Lili Bosse posted a video of the crowd, huddled around the menorah towering over their heads, cheering as the light was switched on.

“Tonight, we came together as a community for our Menorah Lighting Celebration,” Bosse said. “Let’s never forget how important it is that light overcomes all darkness and that we will continue to stand strong together as we celebrate the holidays.”
