The city of West Hollywood is seeking public input about a proposed off-leash dog park at Kings Road Park.

The city will host an in-person listening session on Saturday, Dec. 3, at 10 a.m. at the Kings Road Park Community Meeting Room, 1000 N. Kings Road. City staff and members of the Public Facilities Commission Ad Hoc Subcommittee will provide information about the project and answer questions. Community members, neighbors, property owners and stakeholders are invited to attend.

Kings Road Park is a public neighborhood space featuring gardens and open areas with tropical and local foliage, a play area for small children, fountains and water features, benches and a community meeting room. The park is popular among families and caregivers with small children during the day. The grassy area toward the rear of the park has also become a popular location for people to bring their dogs.

All input from the listening session will be analyzed by staff and members of the Public Facilities Commission when developing a recommendation to the West Hollywood City Council.
