The city of West Hollywood is advising that a re-striping project on Sunset Boulevard is scheduled to begin on Monday, Nov. 21. All roadway striping and legends will be re-striped in thermo-plastic on Sunset Boulevard between Cory Avenue and Havenhurst Drive.

The work will be performed during the late evening and early morning hours to minimize impacts on traffic and parking on Sunset Boulevard. Work will take place through Friday, Dec. 16, from 9 p.m.-4 a.m. Crews will adhere to all roadway construction procedures and traffic devices. At least one lane of traffic will be maintained through work areas.

The project is the latest in a series of refreshments and enhancements for roadways throughout the West Hollywood. The city has completed crosswalk improvements with signalization on Santa Monica Boulevard, and flashing pedestrian warning lights along Fountain Avenue. Lighting has also been installed on the edges of yellow diamond-shaped pedestrian warning signs and bright lights facing traffic lanes were embedded in the roadway, which form a visual line along the perimeter of crosswalks in the city.
