Tickets are available for Disney’s “Strange World,” which opens on Nov. 22 at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood.
Before each screening, the El Capitan will offer a “Mickey and Minnie Snowtacular Show” with live classics to kick off the holidays. The theater is also offering a “Cookies and Cocoa” event with an appearance by Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse on Saturdays and Sundays starting on Nov. 26. The event ticket includes one movie ticket to the 9:30 a.m. showing of “Strange World,” one Ghirardelli cookie or brownie, one Ghirardelli small hot cocoa or coffee, and a 10% discount on merchandise at the Disney Studio Store Hollywood.
The El Capitan Theatre will host an opening night fan event for “Strange World” on Nov. 22 at 7 p.m. Tickets are $50 and include a tote, credential with lanyard, notebook, 64-ounce popcorn and 20-ounce bottled beverage. Attendees can take photographs at a “Strange World”-themed photo op in the theater’s lower lounge, and a holiday-themed display in the lobby.
The theater is participating in the Disney Ultimate Toy Drive supporting Toys for Tots from Nov. 22-Dec. 11. All ticketed guests who donate a new, unwrapped toy with a minimum value of $10 will receive one free small popcorn.
Daily showtimes for “Strange World” are 9:30 a.m. and 12:45, 4 and 7:15 p.m., with additional 10:30 p.m. screenings on Nov. 23-27. The El Capitan Theatre is located at 6838 Hollywood Blvd. For information, call (800)DISNEY6, or visit elcapitantickets.com.
