PATH Ventures raised $160,000 for homeless services and affordable housing during its 17th annual Jazz Night at BroadStage in Santa Monica on Nov. 3, an event that brought together almost 180 supporters, community leaders and development partners.

Jazz Night attendees helped PATH increase its capacity to provide the services critical to its mission, including housing navigation, homelessness prevention, employment services, substance abuse services, street outreach and building affordable housing communities.

Funds will go specifically to PATH Ventures, the housing development arm of PATH, which focuses on building affordable housing communities with onsite supportive services. PATH Ventures currently has nineteen developments in operation, five in construction, and twelve more actively in the pipeline, a total of over 2,500 homes across the state.

Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti was honored for his efforts to help end homelessness, such as passing Proposition HHH, starting A Bridge Home interim housing program. PATH board member and advocate Zondre Johnson accepted an award on behalf of all of PATH Ventures residents. The night featured musical performances from Grammy nominated artist Eric Benét.
