Owner and chef Suzanne Tract at Jar is offering roasted turkey and an array of sides ready for pick up on Wednesday, Nov. 23. She offers easy instructions for heating and tips in preparing a holiday home table. Start with a chestnut chickpea soup, followed by roasted and sliced turkey breast with confit of leg and thigh. Enjoy with cornbread and turkey sausage stuffing with shiitake mushrooms. Generous sides include homemade cranberry sauce, Yukon Gold mashed potatoes with turkey gravy, along with Tuscan kale in porcini broth. This meal for four people is $400 and for eight people is $790, excluding taxes and gratuity. A la carte sides packed for four or eight people are available to purchase for those who prefer to make their own main dish at home.
