A demonstration in solidarity with protestors against the Iranian government will be held from 1-4 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 5, outside Beverly Hills City Hall, 400 N. Crescent Drive. Attendees are asked to wear white.  

The demonstration follows a global wave of protests after a 22-year-old Iranian woman, Mahsa Amini, died in the custody of Iran’s morality police. On Sept. 29, Beverly Hills City Hall was illuminated in honor of Amini. The Beverly Hills City Council voted unanimously on Oct. 11 to condemn the Iranian government and call on the United States to enact sanctions and cease all negotiations with Iran.
