The Beverly Hills Farmers’ Market will hold a Holiday Craft Fair and Cookie Baking Contest on Friday, Dec. 11, from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. The city is calling on amateur bakers to use their favorite cookie recipes and enter the contest by visiting beverlyhills.org/cookiecontest.
The Beverly Hills Farmers’ Market will also host local artisans selling jewelry, essential oils, clothing, pottery, florals, candles and gifts, in addition to the 50-plus regular vendors offering fresh produce and specialty items. Vendors expected at the Holiday Craft Fair include Vavera Boutique, offering handmade candles, accessories and vintage clothing; Sistah Iz Stitchery, selling handmade goods, tea towels and pouches; Mimi’s Handcrafted Goods, a purveyor of soy candles, diffusers and self-care bath and body products; and L8Bloomers, offering succulent plant designs. Also participating will be Unique Orchid Creations, selling hand-carved wood vessels for orchid plantings; Linka Jewelry, offering handmade jewelry; Gerrianas Kandles, offering luxury healing gel candles; and Stress Pop Slime, selling sensory toys for kids and adults. Green Phoenix Relics, offering handcrafted gifts and art; Smitchey Art, offering ceramics gifts; and ALT Studios, specializing in bean bags, backpacks and tote bags, will be present at the market.
The special day will also fight hunger and food insecurity. The Beverly Hills Teen Advisory Committee and Food for the Future will hold a canned and boxed foods drive, with all donations going to local food banks.
