On Oct. 22-23, the annual Fall Festival returns to the Original Farmers Market filled with fun activities for the entire family. The weekend will include live music, a petting zoo, pig races and of course, Los Angeles favorite Mr. Jack O’Lantern’s Pumpkin Patch. Face painting and pumpkin carving, leather carving and basket weaving demos using recycled materials can be found at ‘Artisan Alley,’ just west of the gas station. A lively rotation of bluegrass, folk and country bands will perform live music throughout the market. Don’t miss out on a chance to celebrate the best of fall with the merchants and vendors of The Original Farmers Market this October.
The fall themed games on Gilmore Lane are free, while the games at the Plaza Pumpkin Patch will be available for a nominal fee. Not interested in games and activities? Grab some snacks from one of the market’s many vendors and walk around to enjoy the autumnal decorations. Featured musical acts include The Lucky Stars, Jimi Nelson Band with Mark Christian and the Dickens CowGirl Band.
The Original Farmers Market is located at 6333 W. Third St. The event will be held from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. each day. For a schedule and information, visit farmersmarketla.com.
