L.A.-based artist Kasey Blaustein will bring the columns of Beverly Center’s Grand Court to life through original artwork honoring the richly diverse cultures of the Hispanic diaspora. The columns will spotlight Mexican, AfroCaribbean, Puerto Rican, Central American, South American and Los Angeles’ Chicano-American culture. The columns will be stationed throughout the center’s Grand Court through Nov. 2.
“Projects like this are very meaningful to me personally, and to the culture at Kasey Jones, Ink. Having grown up in a diverse city like Los Angeles, I strongly feel solidarity is expressed through sharing each others cultural traditions and personal experiences, and celebrating them together,” Blaustein said.
The Beverly Center is located at 8500 Beverly Blvd.
