The South Korean ensemble ADG7 continues the 25th anniversary season of Sunset Concerts at the Skirball Cultural Center on Thursday, Aug. 18, at 8 p.m.
The evening begins with museum gallery access and musical selections by Dublab DJ Boba Bear at 6:30 p.m., as well as an opening performance by the Korean American drumming group Woori Sori featuring Skirball exhibiting artist Aram Han Sifuentes. As part of the special evening, the Korean Cultural Center Los Angeles will hold activities and display traditional Korean clothing and accessories from its collection.
ADG7 connects shamanic ritual music and beloved folk songs of the Hwanghae region to the contemporary sounds and influences of pop. The series concludes with Son Rompe Pera on Aug. 25.
