Los Angeles City Council President Pro Tempore Mitch O’Farrell and the Salvadoran American Leadership and Educational Fund are encouraging 13th District residents to sign up for their weekly food distribution program for people who are food-insecure. The program runs for the next three weeks.

The program follows a partnership in 2021 that provided more than 50,000 pounds of groceries to hundreds of 13th District residents during the pandemic. In July, O’Farrell and SALEF launched the summer 2022 food distribution program, which will be held at locations throughout O’Farrell’s district. The program is funded by O’Farrell’s office and administered by SALEF. All participants must be 13th District residents and must register in advance.
