The Los Angeles County Commission on Human Relations has released its proposed strategic plan and is asking members of the public to comment and provide input.
“Our effectiveness in our assigned responsibility to promote positive human relations and advance equity in L.A. County depends on productive collaboration with county government and community partners,” said Preeti Kulkarni, chair of the Strategic Planning Committee.
The feedback will provide the commission with ideas on how to better serve communities in L.A. County. The Los Angeles County Commission on Human Relations develops programs that proactively address racism, homophobia, religious prejudice, linguistic bias and anti-immigrant sentiment.
