iPalpiti returns for a concert on Wednesday, July 20, at 7:30 p.m. at Greystone Mansion in Beverly Hills.
The concert will feature award-winning musicians from around the globe performing in celebration of the 25th annual Festival of International Laureates. iPalpiti (Italian for “heartbeat”) will also hold a grand finale performance titled “On Wings of Peace” and featuring Czech violinist Pavel Šporcl on Saturday, July 23, at 8 p.m. at the Walt Disney Concert Hall.
The concert at Greystone Mansion will include music by Ludwig van Beethoven, Nicoló Paganini and Albert Markov. The featured musicians are violinists Conrad Chow, Samuel Nebyu and Davide De Ascaniis, violists Midori Maruyama and Joseph Kauffman, cellists Josephina Kim and Dilshod Narzillaev, and pianist Lukasz Yoder. Tickets are $50. Greystone Mansion is located at 905 Loma Vista Drive.
The “On Wings of Peace” program will reflect upon ongoing tragedies and the quest for life and peace. It will include “Furia” by Charles Avison, “Quiet Music” by Ukrainian composer Valentin Silvestrov, Paul Hindemith’s military parody “Minimax,” Anton Webern’s “Song of Love” and George Enescu’ Rhapsody N1 arranged for violin solo and string orchestra, and featuring Šporcl. Tickets start at $10. The Walt Disney Concert Hall is located at 111 S. Grand Ave.
