Re “Legacy of city co-founder lives on West Hollywood,” June 23 issue

Thank you for recognizing Ruth Williams, who spent her life making West Hollywood a safer place to live, work and visit.

She was a fierce advocate for eastside residents, especially older adults and the Russian-speaking community. Her dedication and hard work, as well as her big smile and warm hugs, will never be forgotten.

Rest in peace, Ruth.
