The Ebell of Los Angeles is part­nering with Scott Hedley and John Thomas of the Gene London Cinema Collection to present “Get Happy! 100 Years of Judy Garland.” The Ebell of Los Angeles’ historic arts, education and civic engagement campus includes the 1,238-seat Wilshire Ebell Theatre, the theater in which Garland was “discovered” while performing in vaudeville with her sisters. The costumes and mem­orabilia have been brought to Los Angeles for one weekend only and will be exhibited on the stage of the theater.

Curated by Scott Hedley and Co-Produced by John Thomas of the Gene London Cinema Collection, this exhibit features a collection of costumes, vintage posters and mem­orabilia, many of which have never been available for public viewing until now. Carefully curated, this dis­play emphasizes her influence throughout Hollywood, theater and fashion. Featured pieces include never-before seen costumes from “The Wizard of Oz” (1939), newly restored original movie posters, scripts, call sheets and rare audio recordings.

There is a $10 suggested donation. Limited availability and timed entry reservations required.
