The Original Farmers Market, corner of Third and Fairfax, is launching its Thursday Summer Music Series on May 26 and the series will run every Thursday from 6-8 p.m. on the West Patio through Aug. 25. E.B.’s Beer & Wine will also continue to host rock ‘n’ roll tribute bands every Friday from 7-9 p.m.
The musical lineup for 2022 includes Latin jazz, reggae, doo wop, swing and Texas blues rock. “Fully Fullwood Celebrates Bob Marley” kicks off the series on May 26 on the West Patio. George “Fully” Fullwood was a bassist in the legendary reggae artist’s original band during their early days in the 1960s in Kingston, Jamaica. He now plays with his own band while continuing to pay tribute to Marley and the band’s original members.
Additional upcoming performances include Louie Cruz Beltran on June 2, Pretty on June 9, Hukilau Hotshots on June 16, Larry O. Williams and Friends on June 23, and Lil Mo and the Dynaflos on June 30.
Farmers Market bars and restaurants will remain open so guests can dine while enjoying live music. The Original Farmers Market is located at 6333 W. Third St. For information, visit farmersmarketla.com.
