On April 30 PATH hosted its first food festival in Hollywood, presenting the Taste of Home Festival. The event featured local food and beverage vendors, live entertainment, cooking activities and onsite volunteer and advocacy activities. All proceeds from the festival went toward supportive services for those experiencing homelessness in Los Angeles. In the last year, PATH Los Angeles has provided services for more than 18,000 people and permanently housed more than 1,200 people.
Founded in 1984, PATH’s mission is to end homelessness for individuals, families and communities. PATH provides supportive services and builds affordable and supportive housing across the state. With staff in 150 cities across California, PATH provides supportive services including case management, street outreach, interim housing, housing navigation, employment assistance, mental health care resources, veteran service and substance use treatment linkages to 22,000 individuals each year.
