The U.S. Green Building-Los Angeles Chapter’s outdoor sustainability festival will be held on Saturday, May 21, from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. at Los Angeles Trade Tech College. The event is free and open to the public.
The event will include art, music, interactive showcases, demonstrations, career information and education focused on actionable sustainability skills. Jonathan Scott, of “Property Brothers,” will give a keynote speech on net-zero building. The event also includes workshops and forums on sustainability, as well as 50 booths and exhibits. Learn about greening homes and offices, gardening with native and pollinator-friendly plants, home composting, recycling and upcycling, and implementing the best defenses for wildfires.
USGBC-LA’s festival is the largest gathering of sustainability and green building advocates in Southern California.
