THE LUME Los Angeles presents a multi-sensory “Street Art Alive” exhibit by Grande Experiences.
“Street Art Alive” was created in collaboration with more than 200 street artists from around the world including D*Face, Lady Pink and Blek le Rat. It takes visitors on a journey along lanes and streets in more than 20 cities synonymous with street art, including New York, London, São Paulo, Melbourne and Berlin.
A pioneer in changing the way visitors engage with art and culture, Grande Experiences partnered with Magic Box L.A. to create a digital art gallery in downtown Los Angeles. Visitors walk through a recreated New York subway tunnel and view street art from around the world with SENSORY4 Immersive Technology. Learn about the artists by watching HD laser projections and listening to surround-sound technology. The 360-degree environment explores themes such as vibrancy, rejuvenation, fighting for rights and a fresh take on history.
The exhibit is open Wednesday through Sunday at 1933 S. Broadway, downtown. Tickets start at $39; $29 for children 4-14. For information and tickets, call (213)608-3014, or visit tickets.thelumelosangeles.com.
