Detectives in Beverly Hills have arrested two suspects for an armed robbery on May 3 that occurred in the 700 block of North Camden Drive. Police said the crime was not random and believe the victims were targeted.

The robbery occurred at approxi­mately 5:10 a.m. in a residential neighborhood in the western por­tion of the Flats, north of Santa Monica Boulevard. Police received a call for “unknown trouble” and determined at least two armed sus­pects had entered a home and forced residents to surrender prop­erty. There were no injuries report­ed. On May 4, BHPD officers arrested Anthony Chavez Avila, of Lancaster, and Charles Daniel Chiodo, of Sylmar, in connection with the robbery.
