On May 23, 8000 Sunset Strip, a retail destination located in the heart of Los Angeles announced a media, art and entertainment event to celebrate Pride month on Saturday, June 14 from noon to 3 p.m.

The center will host a meet and greet with Nicky Endres, a non-binary transfeminine, genderqueer and gender fluid actress. Visitors are encouraged to watch and take selfies as artist Jennifer Ripassa hand paints a vibrant Pride-themed mural. The center is also proud to host The Queer 26, a 501(c)3 non-profit artist collective, supporting queer artists of color. The group will have a booth with literature about their organization and will assist center guests with taking selfies at the mural. DJ OHLA will also be playing upbeat summer music throughout the afternoon. All event activities will be held next to the first-level stairway and are free to the public. No reservations are required to attend.
