CLAY LA 2022, a two-day open market and celebration of all things clay, will take place April 30 and May 1 at Craft Contemporary. The event will feature shopping, music, hands-on clay activities and an early shoppers preview brunch.
CLAY LA is an annual sale and fundraiser showcasing emerging and established ceramic makers in the Los Angeles area. Meet and shop from some of L.A.’s most vibrant and dynamic makers.
The ticketed preview brunch will occur at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 30. It will include early access to the market, first pick of ceramic pieces, a hands-on workshop for families, a flower bar and complimentary drinks and light refreshments. Tickets for the preview are $40 and can be purchased at craftcontemporary.org/clay-la-2022.
General museum admission will run from noon through 5 p.m on April 30. May 1 hours will be 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. An opportunity to make a clay keepsake, with air-dry clay donated by Laguna Clay, will take place from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. both days. Regular tickets are $9 for adults, $7 for students, teachers and seniors and free for Craft Contemporary members. All museum tickets are free or pay-what-you-can on Sundays.
