Located at the epicenter of Los Angeles, Beverly Center has launched BEATS at BEV, a new music series featuring some of the city’s hottest female DJs. The series launched April 3 and is continuing every Sunday.
Upcoming artists include DJ Mia on April 10 and DJ Frazier Davis on April 24.
DJ Mia is known for a contemporary style and an eclectic, indie mix. She has appeared on “America’s Best Dance Crew” on MTV.
DJ Frazier Davis was the first female to compete in the U.S. Red Bull 3Style DJ Competition, finishing in second place. With an eclectic, open format with a mask-up style, she counts Girl Talk, DJ AM and Z-Trip among her influences. She studied at Jam Master Jay’s Scratch DJ Academy.
Looking ahead, featured artists will include Hauskaat at May 1, Toneé Macara on May 8, Lani Love on May 15, MissNINJA on May 22 and DJ Sophnenom on May 29. ShanLynn performed on April 3.
