Beyoncé, Reba McEntire, Sebastián Yatra and Billie Eilish, who will be joined by FINNEAS, will perform this year’s nominated songs on the 94th Oscars, show producers Will Packer and Shayla Cowan have announced.
“Be Alive” from “King Richard” will be performed by Beyoncé, who co-wrote the song with DIXSON. Sebastián Yatra will sing “Dos Oruguitas” from “Encanto,” which was written by Lin-Manuel Miranda. “No Time To Die” from “No Time to Die” will be performed by co-writer Billie Eilish alongside FINNEAS. Eilish penned the song with Finneas O’Connell. Reba McEntire will sing “Somehow You Do” from “Four Good Days.” The song’s music and lyrics were written by Diane Warren.
“Down To Joy” from “Belfast,” with music and lyrics by Van Morrison, will not be performed on the broadcast. Van Morrison was invited to perform his nominated song but will not attend the Oscars due to his tour schedule.
Also taking the Oscars stage will be an all-star band featuring the show’s music director Adam Blackstone, blink-182 drummer Travis Barker, percussionist and singer Sheila E. and genre-spanning pianist Robert Glasper.
DJ D-Nice, who over the last two years united millions of people around the world with his virtual Club Quarantine parties, will perform during the show as well as at the Governors Ball, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences’ official post-Oscars celebration.
Recently announced presenters will include Daniel Kaluuya, Mila Kunis, Lupita Nyong’o, Naomi Scott, Wesley Snipes and John Travolta, who will join the previously announced Ruth E. Carter, Kevin Costner, Anthony Hopkins, Lily James, Zoë Kravitz, Lady Gaga, John Leguizamo, Simu Liu, Rami Malek, Rosie Perez, Chris Rock, Uma Thurman and Yuh-Jung Youn.
The 94th Oscars will be held on Sunday, March 27, at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood and will be televised live on ABC at 5 p.m.
