The Mid City West Neighborhood Council is currently seeking to fill three vacancies on its board at the next virtual board meeting on Tuesday, April 12, at 6:30 p.m.
The council is seeking to fill positions for nonprofit representative (must be a stakeholder), Zone 6 representative (must be a stakeholder and live in Zone 6, which is bordered by Fairfax and La Brea avenues, and Wilshire Boulevard and Third Street) and youth representative (must be a stakeholder ages 14-17).
Those who live, work, rent and own property within the MCWCC’s borders, or have a stake in the neighborhood as a community interest stakeholder, are eligible for the current openings.
All candidates are encouraged to notify the executive council before April 12 of their intent to run and must attend the next general board meeting to be eligible. For information, email email@example.com or visit empowerla.org.
