Comedy at Mama Shelter L.A.
Can’t Even Comedy hosts free shows featuring up-and-coming comedians and well-known headliners every Tuesday and Thursday at Mama Shelter Los Angeles. On Feb. 3, at 6 p.m., DJ Kay Cali will play music before the All Ladies Comedy Show at 7 p.m. Created by husband-and-wife Maxwell and Caitlin Benson, the comedy show is hosted by Caitlin Benson and features Fatimah Taliah, Emily Browning, Katie Novotny and a surprise guest. For the first time in over 50 years, Dino’s Famous Chicken is preparing Super Bowl party packs for takeout or delivery on Super Bowl Sunday. The packs include six of Dino’s OG charbroiled half chickens with coleslaw and tortillas, and a choice of two sides including fries, rice or beans. The party packs serve eight to 10 people and are $72.99. A 12-piece bucket of Dino’s wings is $16.99, and a 24-piece bucket is $30. Ike’s Love & Sandwiches opens in Hollywood
Ike’s Love & Sandwiches will hold a grand opening for its first location in Hollywood on Wednesday, Feb. 9. The first 50 guests in line at 10 a.m. will receive a free sandwich and Ike’s Hollywood T-shirt. Founder Ike Shehadeh will greet customers at the new restaurant on Vine Street between Sunset and Hollywood boulevards. Sandwiches will be priced at $6 on the special day, limit two per customer. Every Ike’s location offers sandwiches named after local icons. The Vine Street location offers the Hollywood (roast beef, turkey, Ike’s sweet sticky BBQ sauce and cheddar cheese) and the Oz (vegan steak, Ike’s sweet sticky BBQ sauce and cheddar cheese).
