The El Capitan Theatre will once again present Tim Burton’s “The Nightmare Before Christmas” during the Halloween season.

From Oct. 29-31, guests can see the 1993 film in 3D. A special Oogie Boogie photo opportunity will be offered before and after the show.

“The Nightmare Before Christmas” is a stop-motion feature length film that follows the misadventures of Jack Skellington, Halloweentown’s beloved pumpkin king.

Skellington has become bored with the annual ritual of frightening people in the “real world.” When he accidentally stumbles on Christmastown, full of bright colors and warm spirits, Skellington gets a new lease on life. He plots to bring Christmas under his control by kidnapping Santa Claus and taking over the role.

However, Skellington soon discovers even the best-laid plans of mice and skeleton men can go seriously awry. The film is rated PG for thematic elements.

Showtimes are at 9:55 p.m. on each date and are subject to change.
